This fundraiser is one of a kind in our region and raises over $125,000 each year for out-of-school time programs in Martinsville-Henry County during the school year and summer time.

BGCBR professional staff, mentors, tutors, and volunteers provide a welcoming, positive environment for youth ages 3 years old to 22 years old in which kids and teens have fun, participate in life-changing programs, and build supportive relationships with their peers, community partners, and other caring adults.

2024 Annual Blue Ridge Duck Plunge will take place in partnership with Smith River Fest at the Smith River Sports Complex in Axton, Virginia, on Saturday, August 24th at 2:45 p.m.

Adoptions will take place from now until the day of the plunge, so don't miss out on your chance to win the GRAND prize of $3000 while support after school and summer programs for youth in MHC.

Ducks will be $5 each with a chance to win $3,000 if your duck finished 1st! 2nd Place $2,000; 3rd Place $1,000.
